Description

Copper engraved plate with fine original colour by Gottlieb Friedrich Abel. Paper size: 29.5 cm by 24.5 cm (11 1/2 by 9 1/2 inches). Some marginal soiling.

Abels plates, drawn and engraved by him, are often heightened with gouache and egg white and show both sides of the leaf and branches.
